 Chisapani Hospital in Bardghat of West Nawalparasi will provide free artificial limbs


. To make life easier for disabled people, the service of placing artificial legs has been started. With the support of Chaudhary Foundation, disabled persons will get this service for free through the CG Sabal Center in the hospital. Member of the House of Representatives and central member of Nepali Congress, Vinod Chaudhary, inaugurated the Sabal Center on Saturday.

  (Nawalpur) In Madhyabindu Municipality 15, Prasauni, East Nawalparasi, 118 patients with cataract have been found in one ward. About 22 percent of those who came to the free eye examination camp organized by the Rotary Club of Kawasoti had cataracts.  Ophthalmologist Pradeep Bhattarai said that 108 of the 498 people who came to the camp, which was run by the Rotary Club of Kawasoti with the support of Madhyabindu Municipality, were found to have cataracts. As the only treatment for cataract disease  is surgery, the number of patients with cataracts has increased due to the reluctance of people to have their eyes examined in rural areas. Rotary Club of Kawasoti has been conducting free eye camps in rural areas. Harihar Adhikari, President of Rotary Club of Kawasoti, said that free surgery will be given to patients who are found to have cataracts. A free surgery camp will be organized on 11th, 12th and 13th of Mansir for the patients of cataracts found now.

  Firecrackers worth 10 lakhs seized Armed police have seized a large quantity of firecrackers from Ramgram in West Nawalparasi. SP Dhirendra Raj Neupane of Armed Police Force No. 26 Gana Headquarters has seized firecrackers worth 1 million hidden in Ramgram Municipality 12. It was seized by the armed police while it was being loaded into a pickup truck to take it from Ramgram to Sunwal Bhumhi. The police said that the market value of the recovered firecrackers is 1 million rupees. The recovered crackers have been destroyed.
